AIM Solder 14168 - Solder Wire, Glow Core 2.5%, SN100C, Lead-Free, 0.032' Dia, 1LB Spool Glow Core is a no-clean cored wire solder designed to offer excellent wetting characteristics with both leaded and lead-free alloys. The novel activator in Glow Core produces fast cycle time and powerful capillary action. Glow Core promotes thermal transfer, offering better solder penetration into plated through holes or surface mount interconnections. The addition of germanium reduces dross formation and promotes solder flow. Performance in wave and selective soldering is similar to SAC alloys at a considerably lower cost. SN100C is available in bar, solid and cored wire, and solder paste.
