Custom sizes are available on a per job quote. Poplar is the best choice for a paint grade newel with its tight grain and economical cost. It can also be stained dark to match walnut, mahogany and Brazilian cherry hardwoods.The AFP-4092 Actual Flat Panel Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance.
