Developed and manufactured for the 2016-opened Hokkaido Shinkansen (New Aomori~New Hakodate Minami-Hokuto), this is a new Shinkansen vehicle for JR Hokkaido, based on JR East's E5 series. The exterior features a lavender stripe and symbol mark, while some interior parts are unique. The full 10-car formation can be recreated with A set x2 and B set x4. This set includes a leading car (10-car: H514-0), pantograph-less intermediate car (2-car: H526-100), and pantograph-less intermediate car [Green car] (9-car: H515-0). Cars 4 (H526-200) and 6 (H526-300) are identical to car 2. By combining the side, glass, and end panel of car 2 with the roof of car 9, it can be assembled into car 8 (H526-400). It comes with a NEW SG frame and stickers.
