• 65% Alice Layout Barebone Keyboard: The Q8 (Barebone version without switches and keycaps) is a premium 65% Alice layout mechanical keyboard made from CNC-machined aluminum. Featuring an ergonomic design and double-gasket construction, combined with QMK firmware, it blends style, comfort, and functionality seamlessly.
• QMK Customizable: With QMK and Keychron Launcher support, you can remap keys, personalize lighting, and tweak layouts to your liking. The Q8 is fully compatible with both macOS and Windows systems.
• The Q8 Barebone supports hot-swapping with most 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, and more), with no soldering required. PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers are used for larger keys such as the space bar, Shift, Enter, and Delete to reduce wobble and improve stability.
• Double-Gasket Design: The double-gasket structure helps maintain flexibility while improving overall typing sound. Added sound-absorbing foam and case foam significantly reduce resonance and unwanted noise between metal components. Each part can be easily disassembled and reassembled for further customization.
• The south-facing RGB LEDs are designed to better illuminate the keyboard from the typist’s angle, especially when using non-shine-through PBT keycaps. Switches and keycaps are not included with the Q8 Barebone version and must be purchased separately to use the keyboard.
