It's made of High-Speed Steel (HSS) for enhanced durability and features a Bright, Steam Oxide surface treatment to boost mechanical lubricity. The spiral point design is ideal for through-hole applications, and the TiCN coating further improves wear resistance, extending tap life. Key specifications include: No. 10 thread size, UNC thread type, 24 threads per inch, H3 thread limit, and a plug (4.5P) chamfer type. The tap measures 0.19 inches in major diameter, 0.5004 inches in thread length, and 2.375 inches in overall length. It has a 2-flute design, cuts in a right-hand direction, and doesn't require coolant through or have an interrupted thread. Custom coatings are available upon request.
