With JIS dimensions, it requires a JIS Standard tap holder. Ideal for through-hole applications, its spiral point design ensures efficient cutting. The Steam Oxide surface treatment improves mechanical lubricity. Key metrics include: M4 thread size, M thread type, 0.7 pitch, OH2 thread limit, and a 4mm major diameter. It measures 13mm in thread length, 3.242-3.422mm in tap drill size, 21mm in neck length, and 52mm in overall length. The shank diameter is 5mm, with a 7mm square length and 4mm square width. It has 3 flutes, cuts in a right-hand direction, and has a 0° helix angle. It's not an STI thread, doesn't use coolant, and has no interrupted thread. Custom coatings are available upon request.
