Replacement Cartridges for Under Sink Drinking Water System PWF1000RC

2.5 inch x 10 inch replacement cartridges for the PWF1000 under sink drinking water system. Dirt / sediment, chlorine, lead and cyst removal filters. Pre-cartridge: Contains granulated activated carbon which absorbs chlorine and VOC's (volitale organic compounds). Will provide Chlorine Taste & Odor reduction. It also has a Dirt / Sediment rating of 5 microns. The Second stage cartridge is our KW2510LR. This extruded activated carbon block filter boasts impressive capabilities. Reduces levels of lead, cysts and dangerous chemicals. The mesh of the ingredient carbon provides for chlorine removal and a dirt / sediment rating of 1 micron absolute. This provides cyst removal such as Cryptosporidium & Giardia. The turbidity reduction characteristics allow for even asbestos removal. Lead is removed by incorporating an ion exchange filter media into the carbon block extrusion. Our PWF1000RC is a great, more affordable alternative to Whirlpool WHEEPF and GE FXSVC. Specifications: flow rate 2 GPM recommended for point of use installations 2.5" O.D. x 9.75" length radial flow (vs axial flow) provides extended useful life and impressive flow rates. This cartridge set has been tested by the Manufacturer against ANSI / NSF Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine taste and odor. The KW2510LR cartridge will provide > 90% lead reduction for 2,5000 gallons.
