- This retractable rear bed step features a high-impact aluminum alloy frame with a 300 lbs load capacity limit.1 The step pad is engineered with a non-slip, textured physical surface to provide a secure foothold under various weather conditions.
- Constructed with a spring-loaded retractable mechanism for manual deployment and retraction. The assembly includes a black powder-coated steel mounting bracket for corrosion resistance. Designed to bolt directly to the factory frame mounting points without drilling or body modification.
- Designed to replace factory part numbers 82215289AG, 82215289AH, and 82215289AB. This tailgate bumper step clears the dual exhaust pipe path to restore physical access to the truck bed when the tailgate is closed or open.
- Safety limit: Do not exceed the 300 lbs maximum weight limit. Non-compatibility notice: Does not fit 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic (DS) models, models with Single Exhaust, or models equipped with Multifunction (60/40) Tailgates. All pivot points are pre-lubricated for mechanical movement.
