The SharkBite Slip Male Adapter combines our slip coupling with an MNPT threaded Adapter for use installing a water filter valve. The slip side allows up to 2 inches of pipe to be removed and connected by sliding the slip end of the fitting along the pipe to connect to the other pipe. Composed of strong and sturdy lead free DZR brass, these slip adapters are certified to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F, and do not require any soldering, glue, or additional tools for installation.
