This SMC KQL07-U02 elbow tube fitting adapts 1/4" UNI male thread to a push-to-connect fitting for 1/4" OD nylon and polyurethane tubing at a 90-degree angle. The universal-fit (UNI) male thread fits BSPP, BSPT, NPT, and NPTF female threads, and a rubber-coated stainless steel gasket ensures an air- and water-tight seal. The polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) fitting resists corrosion and has a collet and chuck-type mechanism for single-action connection and disconnection of tubing. The connector has a maximum operating pressure of 145 pounds per square inch (psi), a maximum operating vacuum of -100 kilopascals (kPa), and an operating temperature range of -5 to +60 degrees C. This KQ series elbow tube fitting is suitable for use with air and water in both vacuum and pressure applications, such as in food processing.Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
