This UWS chest box is meant for storage only, it is not recommended for use in pickup trucks. The patented foam filled lid creates a solid structure to prevent bending or warping and ensures easy opening and closing from either side. The self-closing struts automatically close the lid with slight manual pull, securing the box when hands are full. The one-piece tub and lid is designed to support heavy loads, absorb tool drops, and prevent leakage. The stainless steel paddle lock lift handle provides strength, security, and long term corrosion resistance. The connecting rod enclosure helps prevent box contents from bending or jamming the locking system. The MicroSeal Stripping helps seal out moisture, dust, and dirt.
